While I was appreciating the history and spooky ambience at Onze Lieve Vrouwkerk, Steve went on walkabout in Damme. I finally found him, trying to comprehend one of the odder places I've ever seen: an open-air sculpture garden (or was it someone's studio? or a junk yard?) featuring large, freaky geometric pieces and vaguely human bits. And let's not forget the (equally open-air) urinal/restroom highlighted in the photo. Yup. Right there among the three-foot sculptures of octagons and human parts, we found this. I have no good explanation. No explanation at all, really. It was just there. Maybe it was part of the art installation. I hope not, but you never know. Anyway, Steve had the idea for this photo. That's him, in his first modeling gig! His family, naturally, are just as proud as they can be.
