We had a great, if cramped, room at the top corner of Di-Ann Hotel. While appreciating the excellent views from two sides, we didn't enjoy navigating the three flights of stairs on the way up (there was no lift). Apparently, many hotels in Amsterdam have tall, narrow staircases like this one. Some hotel websites even warn visitors about them. For people with limited climbing abilities (like us, after drinking too much Hoegaarden) it could be a consideration.
