Aha! The perpetrator is caught on camera! You’ve seen this guy before (in Lofoten, Norway 24). Here he is, about to grab a Cheese Doodle from Susanne’s hand. (I wasn’t kidding about seagulls going gaga for Doodles.) Between the fishing and tourist industries in Lofoten, I imagine the birds in this part of the world are quite well fed. And in reality (as opposed to what occurs in my exaggerated tales) they’re far better behaved than the dive-bombing, thieving, beastly seagulls in Portree, Scotland. Those seagulls will be featured in a “true crime” story elsewhere on the ever-popular and entertaining JP Denk Photo website.
