Long exposure of a ferry leaving the dock at Oslo Harbor. The ferry is probably heading to Bygdøy, a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. It’s home to the excellent Kon Tiki Museum, the Norwegian Folk Museum (an outdoor collection of traditional Norwegian homes and other buildings, including an 800-year-old church), and the Viking Ship Museum. You can drive to Bygdøy (we took the bus), but the ferry is probably quicker, especially when traffic is heavy. You see Akershus Slott and Festning across the harbor.
