The image names in this series tell you as much as I know about Skimteflaten. It’s a tiny place, and I’m unable to find any info. I can tell you the photos in this series were taken about half a mile from County Road 180, down a sled/ski path. (You can see the edge of the trail in photos 8 and 9 of this series.) Having waited several days for the sun, and knowing how quickly the weather could change, I wanted to make the most of this moment. I ran off down that trail like a kid chasing Santa Claus.
