Look at that sky! (And how about the cleverly positioned archway lamp?) From morning until night, Riksdagshuset (Swedish House of Parliament) is a lovely photographic subject.

I've been asked why there are no people in my Stockholm night photos. Well, as always, I made an effort to eliminate uninteresting foot traffic from the compositions. And really, there weren't many folks walking around Gamla Stan this night. But there were plenty walking right through this scene. If you look carefully, especially toward the center of the image, you can see them. Because I was using a long exposure, they appear only as dark, blurry spectral figures. This also is why the clouds in the sky are blurred.
