Christmas lights adorn a random, retired wagon wheel. This simple image, accented by an old barn and the bright greens of spring, is one of my favorites from our 2007 Scandinavian trip. It was shot from the driver’s seat of the car, by a lazy photographer enjoying a lazy morning drive to nowhere in particular. The more I enjoyed the moment, relaxed, and forgot about capturing the next great photo, the more I began to “see” quiet compositions like this one.
