Our tour of Läckö Slott (castle) started just through the red door. No photos were allowed inside, so you’ll have to suffer with a beautiful blue sky and my brilliant photographic composition. We saw numerous paintings (many depicting the 30 Years War, which lasted from 1618 to 1648), a wonderful banquet hall, a very impressive great room, and what was one of the largest libraries in the world in the late 1500s.
