All photos in this set (Västergötland, Sweden 1-16) were taken on the same day in May 2006, as we explored the eastern and southern shores of Lake Vänern. Conditions were still quite gloomy when we reached this spot, near Årnäs. The field of golden rapeseed flowers cheered things up, though. Thanks very much to Laila (she loaned us the car and gave excellent suggestions about places to see), Susanne (driver, tour guide, hot babe), and Christoffer, who put up with continual stops and side trips so I could play my self-appointed role of “Photo Guy.”
