After spending a couple hours consulting maps, websites and other references, I still can’t be sure of some of the rock formations in these images. They all have names, for sure, and if you look around, you’ll find that every other source seems to identify them differently. Ultimately, I relied on my limited orienteering skills and the rudimentary map I received upon entering the park to identify these buttes. Of course, I could have avoided this problem if I’d paid a bit more attention to the details while I was there. Lessons learned.
