Thanks for visiting JP Denk Photo, where you can travel vicariously to interesting, beautiful places. Along with some of my best photos, I try to provide useful (or at least entertaining) information about the places shown. I visit Europe and southwestern US as often as possible, so there is new content added to the site regularly. Hope you enjoy looking around!
Welcome to the Spring of Joy, 2009. OK, the economy is in the dump and those responsible are living large on other people’s money. And sure, my retirement has been pushed back to 2087. But I’m not gloomy. No sirree!
Why? Because George W. Bush has finally embarked on his Misunderestimated World Tour! Yay! In this time of crisis, what could possibly be more helpful than a $200,000 lecture from Mr. Bush? After all, who knows more about disaster than The Decider? No one! That’s who. So rest easy, and feel the joy. The country may be a mess, but George Bush is doing just fine. You bet.
And just in case that news isn’t sufficiently jubilant, here’s something even more exciting: the latest update from JP Denk Photo. This time, we’re heading back to Scotland for a quick tour of Edinburgh. The tour is so quick, in fact, that you get to see only one street. But a fine street it is! The glorious, bustling Royal Mile runs from Edinburgh Castle down to Holyrood Palace. It’s the heart of Edinburgh, and I know you want to see it. So go on. Check it out.
My latest wallpaper is one of my better efforts, I believe. A poster of the Eiffel Tower from November 2003.
The Gallery includes photos from Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and USA. As you might guess, the New Photos gallery contains my most recent additions to the site.
